The largest music festival in the country, Atlas Festival, will take place in Kyiv from July 17 to 19. For the third consecutive year, the event will be held at Blockbuster Mall. The festival headliners are the Australian duo breathe, who will fly to Ukraine all the way from Sydney. breathe perform atmospheric electronic soul and have a large following in Ukraine. “We are coming to Ukraine because some connections need to become real – face to face, in the same room, breathing the same air. Musician Philip Kolyadenko and pianist Emilia Shepel, from the project Phil it, create intimate, incredibly delicate, and lyrical music. They recently concluded their first major tour across Ukraine. Philip Kolyadenko often states that he creates music because he cannot do otherwise, and perhaps this is why Phil it’s songs – “Тебе Немає Тут”, “Свобода”, “Заблукала” – are a pleasure to listen to both in solitude and at festivals, sharing the experience with others.

The band of writer Irena Karpa, popular in the 2000s, made a vibrant comeback to the stage in 2024 and has been selling out venues across Ukraine ever since. The legends of the independent scene will grace the Atlas Festival stage on July 19.

Their tracks embody protest, irony, and uncompromising drive, complemented by the incredible energy and spirited dancing of Irena Karpa – a woman talented in all aspects.

This year’s festival will be held under the slogan “Atlas Festival unites, inspires, helps!” It has brought together the brightest representatives of Ukrainian fashion and culture. The festival’s branding was developed by artist Masha Reva, and a limited charity jewelry collection, with proceeds going to support the military, was created by the brand Guzema.

The goal of Atlas Festival, in conjunction with the “Come Back Alive” foundation, is to raise 150 million hryvnias for “Dronopad” to protect the Ukrainian sky from enemy attacks.
